When we started working with Atlanta Rod and Manufacturing in 2013, they had a little bit of web traffic (around 1,000 sessions per month), and needed to have the website attract potential customers looking for what they offered. The wanted to show up in searches for the alloy types, materials, and products – and wanted to become a resource for searchers.
SEOteric worked with the team at Atlanta Rod to create a content development and optimization strategy centered around their core products and offerings. The process involved research, competitive intelligence, content creation, on-site optimization, and refinements to achieve top rankings.
Over the past few years, we’ve increased monthly traffic from 1,000 per month to over 27,000 per month, with 94% of that traffic from organic search engines (mostly Google). That’s a 3000% increase since we started.
SEOteric developed a new website for Atlanta Rod to help with site speed, visual appeal, SEO implementation, content structure, and style.
The website is built on a custom WordPress theme using the SEOteric Framework (a custom-built WordPress framework) with custom fields, customized admin interface, and a smooth mobile layout.
Important features for this project was style and product presentation, as well as data and product specs. We implemented product data specifications and descriptions within the content, and many of those now trigger “featured snippets” in Google search results.
The website also leverages caching (both Redis and Varnish) and a front-end load balancer to keep performance at peak across traffic volumes.
