Majestic Modifications is a full e-commerce website built using Magento Shopping Cart. This is far from an out-of-the-box website and has over 30 extensions installed. Some of the extensions are community submitted while others are either commercially developed or custom coded for this project. This project was a year in development from start to finish, and is one of the more in-depth projects we have handled. It has an integrated blog, Twitter account, Facebook fan page, article directory, personalized profile pages for account holders, automated vendor notifications, and much more.
SEOteric developed the data for this website over the course of several months including all the images, descriptions, pricing, and categories. The data portion was also SEO optimized to help each product page have a better chance to rank well in the search engines. As of September 2009, the website was drawing traffic from over 7,500 individual keywords with 15,000 - 20,000 visitors each month.

Majestic Modifications has a custom theme modeled after the logo. The most important things were to have easy navigation, optimized product pages, and easy checkout. This was accomplished by keeping a clean flowing design, using bright contrasting call to action buttons, and keeping the search and user experience intuitive. We wanted the site to look nice, but to not lose the functionality in design elements. For an e-commerce store, simplicity is ultra important.
We also developed and designed a Twitter page and a Facebook fan page both modeled after the website. The Facebook page has the ability to do a custom search right on Facebook to find parts for your car, which directs you to the search results on Majestic Modifications. We hope this turns into a great lead generation tool in the future as our fan base grows. The twitter page is also themed after the website with a clean, branded design with contact info and web address on the page background.

Majestic Modifications is built using Magento's Framework. We have added over 30 extensions to the core software increasing the features of this site. It has an integrated blog, automated twitter updates, vendor notifications for orders, car make and model filtering for faster product navigation, a full CMS system for information pages, user profile pages for registered customers, Paypal Website Payments Pro integration, LiveChat functionality, cross promoting products, automated upselling of products, and tons of other features.
The latest version of the website has also optimized the website for converting sales, removed all the known causes for abandoned shopping carts, and implemented nine (9) strategies to maximize the visitor to customer ratio. It has increased search relevance within the site, and It is also hosted on a virtual private server with plenty of memory and bandwidth for the large amount of traffic, allowing page load times of less than 3 seconds across the board.

The success story of Majestic Modifications begins with our national SEO campaign. We set out to find high volume and high conversion keywords to get traffic on our site and increase our exposure. We wanted to build the brand, and the first place to start was by getting brand recognition. We targeted keywords like car accessories, aftermarket auto parts, car modifications, aftermarket car accessories, and related phrases. These were highly competitive, and took months to rank for. We are now on the first page for almost every major keyword related to car accessories.
We didn't want to stop there though. We looked at each product page and built the data to increase each product pages' individual relevance. This proved to be equally successful as over 7500 keywords were bringing in traffic. The brand now has manufacturers and suppliers requesting to be added to the site, and they are getting better suppliers with the increasing brand recognition. All this points to increased sales, AND increased margins.

Majestic Modifications started out with a website and around 150 visitors per month. When we started marketing, we knew it would be six to nine months before we saw the kind of results we were looking for. As of September 2009, the website has 15,000 - 20,000 visitors per month (on average). The break down of traffic sources is 85% search engine traffic, 8% referring websites, and 7% direct traffic. All the search engine traffic is organic, with NO expenses for PPC advertising.
There were 7609 keywords bringing in traffic (according to Google Analytics). These figures have been consistent since early 2008 through a few Google updates, and many keywords have still been improving over time. The site hovers around a Google Page Rank 4, and is currently a Google Page Rank 3 due to more outgoing links on the homepage. As the site matures, this will continue to increase with our ongoing marketing plan. Traffic Value Estimates for the website are $27,000.00 per month according to semrush.com.
Commercial Roof Premium Domain Drupal Development

Commercial Roof has been around since 1983, and they have had a website for several years. They recently purchased www.commercialroof.com as a premium domain, and wanted someone they could trust to build the site. The existing site had crashed database tables and couldn't be edited or fixed, so SEOteric created a "new" website on the new domain. We took the existing site and recreated it in Drupal, our favorite content management system. We used the same theme and the same content, but made improvements for SEO by changing the page URLs, updating some content, and adding a few new sections.
The website now has areas for solar roofing, green roofing, and an updated contact form. We also transferred all the existing email address over to the new domain with virtually no interruption in service.
Website Theme Rebuilding
It's not everyday that your goal is to reproduce something that already exists, but that was the goal for this website build. We took all existing designs and incorporated them into the new content management system. Any new content had to match the existing theme, so we carefully re-created the theme in the new system and went to work updating code. The old site was built using tables, but the new site was constructed using an almost-tableless css structure. Two very different coding structures can create an identical looking page, but having cleaner code can help pages load faster and maintain browser compliance. This helps the site look the same in all different types of internet browsers such as Safari, Internet Explorer, and Firefox.

The CMS has lots of add on features developed by the Drupal community, commercial developers, and custom coded extensions for this project. SolarFlex Technologies Drupal CMS Company Website
Custom Design | Regional Marketing Strategy
SolarFlex Technologies requested a website that was "GREEN" and "CLEAN" since they are a solar energy system contractor. They had a logo created prior to contacting us, and turns out there were two mistakes in the logo that we found. Luckily, we were able to help them correct the issue before they went to press with business cards and stationary saving them a few hundred dollars.
This website was built using Drupal, a full content management solution. We really like it because of its flexibility, scalability, and back-end technology that we can train our customers to use. It has some custom features requested by the client, such as a Snap Preview integration, rotating banner images, custom contact form for pre-qualifying leads, an RSS feed display on the home page, and a LIVE preview of their Solar Monitoring System that shows solar output in REAL-TIME through a web interface.

We added this site to our profile because a lot of customers have told us how much they like the colorful yet clean design of this site, so we decided to go ahead and add it to the portfolio and track its progress. This theme was built around an existing logo that SolarFlex Technologies had developed. One of the things we do well is taking an existing logo and building a website around it. The SolarFlex guys were really happy with how this developed, and are working with us now on building the Facebook Fan Page and a Twitter Page using the same color scheme and theme.
We used a lot of gradients (transitions from one color to another) and lighting effects on this site since it was a solar website. We also used a lot of white space and green elements to keep it simple and green. The Twitter page and Facebook Fan Page will be coming soon, so check back with us in a few weeks.

As, with other parts of the project, the marketing for SolarFlex Technologies is in the planning and implementation stages. The Goal for SolarFlex Technologies was to develop a regional market reach, so we are researching and focusing on solar related keywords in Georgia. As the landscape for solar energy keeps changing, we are going to be focused on new "buzz words" that come up, such as new legislation, new technology, or new catch phrases. The goal is to be on the leading edge and give them a chance to compete in the radiply growing and changing industry.

Diesel Keeper Magento E-Commerce Multi-Language Website

Diesel Keeper requested a low budget, start-up company website. This was a unique case from the start because we had a deadline of six (6) days to have this site completed with data created and entered, shopping cart, payment modules, and images. The company had a truck show they were attending and needed the website finished in time for the show.
We went with a template that matched the company's new logo and designed the buttons and page elements for the site. We also added a blog, automated Twitter integration, and some other add on features. We will be adding a Twitter page and a Facebook fan page soon. Diesel Keeper also has a targeted SEO campaign to focus on keywords to bring in traffic from people looking for solutions to diesel fuel theft.

The theme we selected was a developed theme for Magento Shopping Cart. We took the theme and customized the buttons, added a rotating gallery script on the home page, and styled the content. The theme had some styling issues we had to correct, which cost us some time, but the client was very pleased with the end result, even though we only had six (6) days to complete it.
The Facebook and Twitter pages will be themed just like the existing website, and will give another way to build brand recognition. Those pages are in development, so stay tuned for the updates.

The Keywords for Diesel Keeper are very targeted. We are utilizing key phrases such as stop diesel theft, prevent diesel fuel theft, anti siphon device, etc. These keywords are ones that we have found to possibly have a double benefit: 1) Individuals use these keywords and 2) Trucking companies and managers use these keywords looking for solutions for fleets of vehicles, so one conversion could mean dozens of sales.
The data was also optimized for specific keywords per product, and each product pages has very high relevance. Traffic has been increasing since we launched, and so has the search engine rankings.

Diesel Keeper is now ranked on the first page for anti siphon device, stop diesel fuel theft, prevent diesel fuel theft, and other related keywords. The end result should have us at #1 for all these keywords as the campaign matures. The sites traffic is up around 400 per month as of September 2009 and it continues to increase.
The site draws traffic from around 75 keywords and growing, and this is another site to watch as the months go by. An interesting product offering is sure to get attention, and we are using Youtube as a medium for getting out some video info about the product.
