Matt Brooks – SEO/Project Director | Principal
Matt is responsible for the code development and marketing strategies for the firm. It is a rare combination for a code developer to be as schooled in SEO and marketing as Matt is. There is a disconnect in the industry between code and marketing, and Matt has been bridging the gap since he started in the early 2000′s. Making website code, content, and SEO work together is one of Matt’s unique talents.
Clint Bullock – Technology Director | Principal
Clint is the man behind the curtain. He runs our hosting servers, security, software deployments and upgrades, database management, backups, and the overall technology infrastructure for SEOTERIC. His contributions make our websites secure, fast, and reliable. Especially since Google now takes website performance into consideration as a ranking factor, hosting environments are now more important than ever.
Pamela Johnson – National Sales Director/Project Manager
Pamela joins SEOteric with over 17 years of sales and project management experience. She comes from an established brand, bringing valuable experience in helping us further our goals to be customer focused. Pamela oversees our national accounts, recruits and places account executives in key locations, and provides project management and training support to our customers and our internal team.
Jim Amick – Account Executive/Project Manager For Carolina Regions
Jim is our customer advisor and liaison between developers and clients in North and South Carolina. Serving our Carolina Regions, he is the first point of contact and can work with existing and potential customers to get their needs met, and to help clearly define expectations for us as a company and for our clients. Having Jim fill this role keeps us sharp, and our customers happy.
Phil Goodwin – Creative Director/Website Designer
Phil is the guy that really makes us “look” good. We partnered with Phil from the very start to offer beautiful and functional logo designs, website layouts, and even print and media advertising design. He has an great ability to listen to people’s vision and create something tangible out of ideas – hitting the mark most of the time on the first attempt. He love different types of projects like t-shirts, banners, websites, logos, and everything else to keep him sharp and streaming with fresh ideas.
Jonathan Staton – Development Director/Website Developer
Jonathan is our primary website developer. He takes the website artwork from Phil and makes it work on the web. Jonathan is also a talented designer, so he is able to make updates and changes to projects without waiting on graphics. He can also fully design websites based on our current lead time for projects, and is a very resourceful website developer.
Sharon Brooks – Executive Assistant
Sharon’s role involves supporting the team in multiple areas – everything from organization to calendars and email. She also supports the executive team in the daily operations of the business. Sharon was a part of the SEO team in the early stages, but has since passed those responsibilities on to Carter and JB, supporting Matt as he oversees the team.
Meg Bullock – Financial Accounts Manager
Meg has been a great addition to our team, helping us get more efficient and effective handling our financial accounts. She is the first point of contact for our financial operations. She can help set up automated payments, scheduled payments, and take care of any outstanding invoices. Meg works with our account executives to make sure financial obligations are met – both for us and our clients.
Carter Burke – SEO Specialist (Link Acquisition)
Carter is our resident link builder and works closely with Matt on link acquisition. SEO has evolved over the years and in order to stay ahead of the game, we employ strategies to build quality links from good sources – not just as many links as we can build. Carter manages this process daily for our clients.
Jonathan Burroughs (JB) – SEO Specialist (Content Development)
JB works with Matt on on-site SEO content strategies and content marketing. Content drives the web and links, and having good updated content can attract links, help you rank better for keywords, and improve indexation. JB also helps with Social Media as we push content to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
